"I cannot begin to thank you enough for all your hard work, and getting my daughter’s case dismissed. You went over and beyond the call of duty, and did what most attorneys cannot do.

You believed that my daughter was innocent, and advised us to do the right thing. It was as if it were your very own child! You presented all the facts to the DA clearly and coherently, and proved that she did not deserve to be labeled and punished as the system would have it. For that, I thank you each day, and hope and pray you continue to help others as you have helped us.

When my daughter got in trouble, we received many letters from different attorneys wanting to represent us. I was confused and didn’t know who to call. I put all the letters in a bag, closed my eyes and drew one letter out. It was yours. I knew that the Great Divine above would lead me correctly. He sent me an Angel. He sent me you.

Thank you for being there for us. "

“Prove it or try it.” You claim my client is guilty, so prove it. If not, dismiss it or set it for trial. I like to fight. I don’t lie down and accept what the prosecutor says happened, just because they are saying so. I was hired to do a job and I plan on doing it.

The only way I can effectively represent any client is to begin with the upper hand from the outset. I have to know more than the other side knows or I’m going to be at a disadvantage from the get go. I need to know the law better, I need to know our case better. There is a lot of work that goes into each and every case. The better prepared I am, the better the outcome will be. It is that simple.

I am not a big firm. I don’t sign up the case and pass you off to a subordinate of mine. I pride myself on personal attention to each and every case. I give my clients my email address as well as my personal cell phone number. I am always just a phone call or email away. I understand that most clients are on edge and cannot wait for an entire evening or weekend to pass before they are given an answer to a question they have. I embrace that notion and I am happy to give you the answers to your questions as they come up so that you can remain fully informed and understand the process of your case.

I take pride in gearing up for battle with the government. I understand that each client has a different set of problems they bring with them on any given case. My job is to be there as a protector and fighter for my clients.

Don’t settle for a lawyer who will put forth little effort when this is the most important thing going on in your life and the outcome will affect you for a long time to come. Call me today to set up a free initial consultation.

    Attorney Profile

pic1 Ross was born in Houston and lives in his hometown of Richmond, Texas with his wife and two kids. Ross was a two sport athlete at Lamar Consolidated High School and attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas where he earned multiple scholarships. He was the first in his family to earn a college degree. Later, Ross studied Spanish at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico before beginning law school.

While studying at South Texas College of Law during the day, Ross worked nights to pay his way thru school and support his family. While earning his law degree, Ross focused his attention on criminal trial advocacy. His interest in defending the accused led him to be invited to visit the “Walls Unit” in Huntsville where he joined the select few to view the inside of the execution chamber.

After graduating from South Texas College of Law with his juris doctorate, Ross’ law school internship in mass tort litigation led him to accept employment with the Vioxx Litigation Consortium. He managed over 1,500 cases with Williams Bailey (Williams Kherkher), Provost Umphrey, The Watts Law Firm, and The Kaiser Firm, filed on behalf of plaintiffs who were injured while taking Vioxx.

After settlement of the Vioxx lawsuit, Ross hung out his own shingle in Richmond and began defending indigent clients taking court appointments while building his criminal defense practice.

Today, Ross has a thriving criminal defense practice based in Sugar Land. Ross frequently travels to surrounding counties such as Harris, Montgomery, Brazoria, Matagorda, and Waller as referrals from former clients continue to spread his reputation for vigorously defending his clients.
